Meet Adam
Adam Drajem is a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Colorado and is recognized by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, (NCCAOM).
Adam has been interested in natural healing since he was a boy. He would often practice on his parents. Adam grew up in Florida and lived there for 27 years. He went to college at the University of South Florida were he received his Bachelor’s in Business Marketing. The effects he has seen from some of the acupuncturists sparked his passion. His yearning to help people began to grow day by day. Adam eventually decided it was time to listen to his heart and go back to school for Chinese medicine.
Adam attended East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, FL. He was able to channel his passion for healing through the art and science of Chinese medicine. Adam trained in acupuncture, herbal therapy, moxibustion, nutrition, and a plethora of bodywork techniques. During his time at school, Adam interned at New College of Florida’s student clinic and the Center for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. In his final year of schooling, Adam went on a studies trip to China. He was able to study under several nationally known doctors and masters in Beijing and Taiyuan.
At the end of his studies in Florida, Adam’s love for the mountains drew him Colorado. Soon after, Adam studied and worked for several years under Dr. Zhang, a 10th generation master acupuncturist. His skills in Chinese medicine have been accelerated with Dr. Zhang’s exceptional experience and knowledge. Adam is able to treat many cases that others cannot and specializes in chronic conditions.
When he is not working at his clinic, Adam seeks an active lifestyle. He discovered his passion for climbing soon after moving to Colorado. He also enjoys mountain biking, acro yoga, slack-lining, skiing and snowboarding.
